Springfield Model 1861, .58 cal. percussion musket, good condition. 40” barrel has rusted bore that could use scrubbing, correct sights. Finish has mostly turned patina. Proof marks are visible at breech. Lock plate and hammer have crisp markings with some surface corrosion, date: “1862.” Stock is very good with very few marks. Stock hardware is correct.
