The Pioneer Gun works action springs are made specifically to give you the lightest spring tension available for the lever and lifter arms action, while still reliably allowing the carrier movement and lever action to stay true. Machined from high grade steel, they are tapped to work flawlessly with your stock Uberti lifter and lever screws. The hardened “action spring screws” are a great addition with this kit, as the stock Uberti screws have a tendency to be soft which can cause gouging.
The specially designed “spring arms”, rock up and down while riding the cam surfaces of the lifer arm and lever. Pioneer Gun Works has utilized specially designed music wire to suffice for the spring tension in this kit, giving their Action Springs one of the most unique and simple designs available in a performance part.
*Action Spring kit will come with 4 tension spring rods.
*NOTE* Action spring screws do NOT come with the action spring kit and will have to be purchased separately!
These action springs are machined from high strength steel and include a tension rod tuned to provide a light feeling action and reliable function. They are threaded to accept Uberti screws and PGW American made screws. Screws are not included. These will only fit Uberti made rifles.
ATTN: Critical Installation Step: Before installing the Action Springs, make sure that the lever cam surface is smooth, polished, and without a sharp edge that could cause the pivot arm tip to wear.
