German Luger "42 Code", 9mm cal. military auto pistol.  Serial #5219, mfg. Nazi Germany in 1939.  Very good condition.  Standard Nazi officer issue during WWII.  Mostly matching serial numbers. Renumbered 4" barrel has good rifling, but has darkness and some pitting, fixed military sights.  Takedown lever is not numbered, slide number has been renumbered to match.  The remaining serial numbers are properly matching.  1939 dated on the chamber and 42 code on the toggle. Eagle/655 military acceptance marks.  99% arsenal blue finish with little wear.  Wood checkered grips are excellent and may be later replacements.  WWII blue body magazine with aluminum base is very good with some finish wear.  Appears to function fine.  Import marked under the barrel.
